Our cadets are hard at work building a new web site. In the meantime, come and find out what we do. Our parade nights are Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.00pm - call to find out what's on where.
Join us and enjoy lots of fun activities:
  • learn to fly and glide - many of our cadets have gained their Private Pilot Licence and have gone solo in gliders
  • Earn Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards - 444 cadets have achieved over 75 Gold Awards in the Squadron's history
  • enjoy going on camps, trips and expeditions to the USA, Peru, India, Israel, Gibraltar, Cyprus and Germany
  • learn new skills from SAS training weekends, fieldcraft and survival training camps, skiing, trekking, and aerospace camps - 444 cadets have adventures everywhere!
  • participate in sports, target shooting, climbing and abseiling, as well as First Aid training
  • join our award-wining band of drums, pipes and bell lyres
  • Get BTEC qualifications in aviation, communications, music and public service
